Manx Telecom and DHSC in pioneering experiment
Participants who took part in a groundbreaking hearing loss trial say it's made a 'fundamental' difference.
The experiment, a joint initiative between Audiology Service, Manx Telecom and UK-based Goshawk Communications, is believed to be the first of its kind worldwide.
It involved giving hearing impaired individuals a specially modified SIM card which fine-tunes mobile phone signals based on their needs.
Cath Hayhow said she's happy she can make calls again.
