Help on hand for unplanned pregnancies

Campaigners offer support via helpline

A warning issued about faulty condoms has prompted a campaign group to offer support over any unplanned pregnancies.

The Office of Fair Trading is asking people who bought any non-latex Durex products to return them as they failed to meet 'burst pressure' requirements.

Life Isle of Man says its helpline offers support for anyone who may have become pregnant despite using the defective contraception.

Liz Parsons from the group is there to help people dealing with an unplanned pregnancy:

The Life Pregnancy Care Helpline is 620125.

The OFT has said there is no immediate safety concern, but consumers are advised there could be an increase in the number of condoms that split during application or use.
