Recent heavy rainfall to blame for issues
Resurfacing work on the Island's Heritage trail is delayed by a week due to recent heavy rainfall.
Manx Utilities confirmed the delay on its Facebook page.
The work is being undertaken as part of the Crosby Wastewater Treatment project.
However, due to recent weather, contractors from Paul Carey & Sons Ltd have encountered delays in completing the trail's final surfacing work.
The current road closures in place will be extended by a further week, to Friday 22 March as a result.
In a statement the company said: "We remain committed to reopening the trail as swiftly as possible and appreciate users' patience and understanding whilst these necessary resurfacing works take place."
