Star of Channel 4 soap Ki Griffin to speak
Hollyoaks star Ki Griffin will be in attendance at the Isle of Man's first Pride festival today.
The actor played the Channel 4 soap's first intersex and non-binary character Ripley Lennox.
Ki will be one of the guest speakers at the event, discussing identity and their journey, which is taking place in the Villa Marina Gardens.
They also work with the LGBT+ charity Just Like Us with its 'Younger Me' campaign which encourages children to be proud of who they are when growing up.
Isle of Pride organisers say Ki was already on the Island and decided to extend the trip to include today's festival.
