Tynwald committee hears evidence
An Island charity says mental health provision is 'lacking' for those on the margins of society.
Last year staff at Graih worked with around 160 local people, and served in excess of 4,000 meals.
A survey carried out in 2015 found that '9 out of 10' of the Island's homeless population suffered from some form of mental health issue.
The charity has also raised concerns about vulnerable people being admitted to inpatients' facilities, only to be discharged with nowhere to go.
Michael Manning from Graih gave evidence this morning to a Tynwald committee investigating mental health provision Island-wide.
