Hospice on the high street venture

Outreach to the southern community

Isle of Man Hospice is opening a new drop-in service for people in the south of the island, living with cancer or other life-limiting conditions.

A cafe-style 'open house' will be run at the Methodist Church each Tuesday afternoon starting this week (4 April), offering advice, support and counselling.

It's free, and no appointment or referral is needed.

Styled 'hospice on the high street', the outreach will extend access to services in an informal, community setting.

From help with form-filling to bereavement counselling, staff and volunteers aim to make it a place of sanctuary - and it's for carers and relatives too.

Hospice Drop In will be open at the Methodist Church on Station Road each Tuesday afternoon from 12.45 pm - 6.15pm.
