CEO addresses matter of waiting lists during board meeting
Manx Care says programmes of elective surgery on the Isle of Man is now 'building back'.
Teresa Cope provided an update on waiting times for several key services during Manx Care's public board meeting today (25 January).
She says the organisation 'inherited' large waiting lists - partially due to Covid-19 - including in the likes of endoscopy, orthopaedics and cataract surgery.
The chief executive adds it's also taken time to to get systems in place to start bringing those lists down:
Ramsey Swing Bridge 'a key line' for businessesÂ
Protecting farmers from impact of climate change 'a no brainer'
Dogs to be allowed on Douglas Beach year-round as part of council trial
Manx language choir to perform at Royal Irish Academy
