Hospital report highlights lack of proper governance

Committee chair suggests a reluctance to change

Inaction and a lack of adherence to report recommendations has led to fundamental problems at Noble's Hospital.

The view of the chair of the Public Accounts Committee, Juan Watterson SHK.

He's been speaking as the committee releases two reports into overspending at Noble's Hospital.

One looks at what, if anything, has been done since the committee produced a series of recommendations a year ago, while the other looks at staffing.

Mr Watterson says according to the committee's findings, there often seems to be a reluctance to change.
