Ward closures put health services under pressure
Health bosses say the situation at Noble's Hospital is under 'continual review', following two ward closures last week.
One of the units partially re-opened on Friday; while another remains closed due to a viral outbreak.
A shortage of bed spaces led to a number of patients scheduled for elective surgery being contacted yesterday.
The public are asked not to visit patients unless 'absolutely necessary', and to avoid A&E if they've been suffering from vomiting and diarrhoea.
