House of Keys sits today

Final sitting of parliamentary year

There's plenty for discussion at today's (Tuesday) final House of Keys sitting of the parliamentary year.

Immigration, pensions, Manx meat and the possibility of a Manx government referendum.

There are 17 questions for oral answer and six for written reply.

Among the questions, the Chief Minister will be asked about the impact on the Island after the UK's latest changes to immigration rules.

It relates to non-EU workers being extradited after six years if they earn less than £35,000.

Onchan member Peter Karran is asking DEFA Minister Richard Ronan if he'll introduce a voluntary scheme for eateries across the Island to sell Manx meat.

Mr Karran also wants details from the Treasury Minister about the annual cost of the Manx Pension supplement over the past three years.

You can listen to the House of Keys live on Manx Radio AM 1368 from 10am this morning, or on manxradio.com
