Manx Radio's IM1 programme has been nominated for an award at the ARIAS 2026.

Run by the Audio Academy - formerly the Radio Academy - the annual awards are the UK's leading audio and radio awards 'recognising outstanding shows and the creative teams behind them'.

2026 marks ten years of the ARIAS, which were previously known as the Sony Radio Awards.

IM1 will go up against nine other programmes in the Best Comedy category – made by the likes of BBC Radio 4, Absolute Radio and Sony Music Entertainment.

The satirical comedy series is produced and largely written by Manx Radio's Howard Caine and will return live at the Centenary Centre in Peel on 16 May with 'Voting for Dummies'.
