Hooper says talks around matter already underway
Incentives to attract more healthworkers to work on the Isle of Man could be better, the health minister has admitted.
Lawrie Hooper was responding to comments made by the chair of his own Liberal Vannin party.
Paul Weatherall stated the UK is under similar health pressures to here, but more people were being trained there to deal with demand.
Mr Hooper says talks around the issue have already started:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
