Expanded eligibility and increased funding for support schemes
The enterprise minister says he hopes more support for businesses will meet the needs of local firms at a time when operating costs are increasing and conditions remain challenging.
The Department for Enterprise is expanding eligibility and increasing funding for a number of its support schemes.
Tim Johnston says the increased support comes in response to rising costs and ongoing global economic pressures.
The changes include increased flexibility under the Town and Village Regeneration Scheme, and more help for businesses looking to reduce costs under the Financial Assistance Scheme.
The minister hopes it will enable businesses to adapt and remain resilient, while continuing to contribute to the economy.
