Plan being devised to better protect vulnerable
The way health and social care officials manage cases involving vulnerable families is to be placed under intense scrutiny.
Government’s developing an action plan following an independent safeguarding review.
The issue was first raised last year when former Onchan MHK, Peter Karran, issued political colleagues with a series of anonymous case studies and disturbing allegations.
Policy and Reform Minister, Chris Thomas, says the review will be debated in Tynwald in October and it’s unfair to form an opinion based on conjecture:
