Transport drives up consumer prices index
Transport is behind the latest increase to the Isle of Man's inflation rate according to figures released by the Manx government.
The Consumer Prices Index stood at 4.6 per cent at the end of November - an increase of 0.2 per cent compared to the previous month.
The inflation report shows the cost of air travel has risen by 72.3 per cent compared to this time last year, while petrol and oil has also jumped in price.
Oil and other fuels, housing, and electricity have also increased in cost since this time last year.
