Inflation rises again

Inflation is up by 0.4% according to the latest government figures.

In the month of July it increased from 2.8% to 3.2%.

It's now the second month in a row that inflation has risen.

The price of clothing and footwear went up by 4% over the past month, while the cost of household and leisure goods also went up too.

The cost of traveling went down by 3% which was the largest decrease, fuel and alcohol also went down marginally.

The price of potatoes has risen by 27% over the past twelve months and the price of fish and cereals have also risen highly.

Since July 2012 to July 2013 the cost of gas has fallen more than any other commodity, with more than a 12% decrease.
