Hearing told 14 year old died last Sunday
A court’s heard how a 14 year old boy died at Noble’s Hospital after he was found unconscious by his brother at home.
Today, Coroner of Inquests John Needham opened and adjourned an inquest into the death of Harrison Zacariah Cushing of Peel.
The hearing at Douglas Courthouse was told he was taken to Noble’s Hospital on Sunday, May 17 shortly after 7.30pm but doctors were unable to save him.
A post-mortem examination gave the medical cause of death as asphyxia by hanging.
Expressing his condolences to the family who were in court this afternoon, Mr Needham adjourned the case to a date to be fixed.
