Kathryn Magson takes over from Angela Murray
An interim chief executive officer has taken the reins at the Department of Health and Soical Care.
Kathryn Magson is taking on the position from Angela Murray, who's to become the department's first chief operating officer.
Ms Magson has taken a two-year secondment from a senior position in the UK, with NHS Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group.
Government says Ms Magson will "steer the DHSC through a period of challenge and change".
