Investigation into DHSC tribunal documents costs more than £10,000

Private investigators brought in following allegation of concocted paperwork

An investigation into documents submitted by the health department to an employment tribunal has so far cost more than £10,000.

The Department of Health and Social Care hired private investigators Expol following an allegation that the department had concocted paperwork submitted in the Dr Rosalind Ranson case.

A Freedom of Information request submitted by Manx Radio confirmed £10,032.50 has been spent since the firm has engaged in July.

The findings of the investigation will be shared with the tribunal as it continues to look into the way documents were disclosed during the proceedings.
