Chief Minister discusses immigration challenges
The Isle of Man may need its own visa or immigration pathway to tackle the shortage of skilled workers.
Chief Minister Alfred Cannan discussed the idea when giving evidence to the House of Commons' Justice Committee on the UK's relationship with the Crown Dependencies.
The Isle of Man currently works with the British Embassy when people from outside the Common Travel Area look to move to the Island.
But Mr Cannan says there may need to be a more specialised option for the Isle of Man:
DoI to change rent-setting model for public sector housingĀ
