MHK says public's views must be represented
The Isle of Man's voice is small on the international stage, but it's vital that voice is used.
Those comments are from the MHK behind the motion which saw Tynwald condemn the attacks in the Middle East.
Since the start of the war, some on Island have held demonstrations calling for a ceasefire in the region.
