Organisation hopes to redevelop Finch Road property
The Isle of Man Islamic Association is planning for a new Douglas worship centre.
An application has been put in by the group to redevelop a building in the capital as a community hub for its members.
If approved, the plans would see 20 Finch Road redesigned.
The charity currently has a base at Mona Terrace Lane, which it has described as unsuitable as a place of worship.
The Finch Road building would therefore be a replacement for the Isle of Man Islamic Mosque and would be the only facility of its kind here.
