85-mile challenge getting underway in Douglas this morning (22 June)
The latest edition of one of the Isle of Man's biggest mass-participation events is set to take place today (22 June).
The 2024 Parish Walk will see hundreds of people taking on all or part of a gruelling 85-mile walking route across the Island with the occasion getting underway at 8am this morning at the NSC in Douglas.
Along with those taking part with personal objectives and some for charitable causes, amid those who could be competing at the front are defending men's and women's champions Dean Morgan and Lorna Gleave.
