Experts forecast grim future if carbon not tackled
Climate experts have warned that the Island is at risk of 'dire' consequences if nothing is done to significantly reduce carbon emissions.
Professors Kevin Anderson and Alice Bows-Larkin from the University of Manchester have been meeting Tynwald members and government staff this week.
Last night (Wednesday) they delivered a public lecture on the dangers of climate change at Ballakermeen High School.
Professor Anderson said the threat is real and imminent:
Doctors accept three-year pay offer
Seven acts promulgated in final Tynwald Day ceremony before election
Sharp rise in data breaches on Island, says Information Commissioner's Office
Footage circulating on social media 'now an active investigation'
