Island charity worker highlights effect of Ebola on education in Sierra Leone

An Island-based charity worker says the ebola outbreak in Sierra Leone will have a massive knock-on effect on education in the country.

Clair Bader is the Director of Programme Development and Quality for Save the Children in Sierra Leone, where she's worked for over two years.

She says whilst the work of governments, health agencies and international charities in their fight to contain the deadly outbreak is hogging the headlines at the moment, there are other serious consequences which haven't yet been highlighted

The Isle of Man International Development Committee has donated £100,000 to an appeal tackling the Ebola crisis in West Africa.
