Callister claims it would help build confidence in sector
An Onchan MHK has called for the reinstatement of a specific government department for tourism.
Rob Callister told Manx Radio it would help rebuild confidence in the sector.
The Department for Tourism and Leisure was split up in 2010 when the tourism function was moved to the Department of Economic Development which then became the Department for Enterprise.
Mr Callister says a more focussed approach is needed:
