Island 'needs to be included in Brexit talks'

Minister attends BIC on-Island

Brexit has come to the fore at today's meeting of the British Irish Council.

Earlier today, Scotland's First Minister accused the UK Government of trying to promise "all things to all people" on Brexit.

Nicola Sturgeon, who's on the Island for today's meeting, claimed Theresa May is not constructing a lasting deal and is trying to hide the damage that leaving the EU will cause.

Meanwhile, in a leaked letter, Theresa May's hinted there could be customs checks in the Irish Sea in the event of no-deal with Brussels.

The UK Government Minister for the Department for Exiting the EU - Robin Walker - was at today's meeting.
