Week-long event at The Nunnery to get underway
Delegates from 19 small countries are arriving on the Island today (28 June) for the 2025 Small Countries Financial Management Programme.
Held over seven days at The Nunnery the event brings together senior government financial leaders from some of the world's poorest and most remote nations.
Countries as far afield as the Caribbean, Pacific region, Indian Ocean and Africa will be represented.
Executive Director of The Programme, former Chief Constable, Gary Roberts, says the importance of an event like this to the countries involved can't be overstated:
DoI to change rent-setting model for public sector housing
Candidates could need to declare interests to stand in 2026 General Election
Customs and Excise office to relocate
Douglas man convicted in Island's 'most complex child abuse image investigation'
