Dramatic rise in foreign exchange orders
Isle of Man Bank says it’s not taking any new foreign currency orders for euros today.
Bill Shimmins, managing director says the bank has seen a huge surge in the number of people ordering the currency in the wake of the Brexit result.
He explained the bank has only a limited stock of notes and so is still processing existing orders for people who have ordered holiday money.
But he says for the time being, no new orders will be taken.
