Popular CAMRA event is in its 13th year

The Isle of Man Beer and Cider Festival returns to Douglas today (9 April) for its 13th year.

The annual event, organised and staffed entirely by volunteers, sees hundreds pack into the Villa Marina Royal Hall to sample a variety of ales, ciders, and perries - as well as fruit wines and meads - all from the Isle of Man or the UK.

Hosted by CAMRA - the Campaign for Real Ale - this year's festival also pays homage to the 150th anniversary of the Douglas Bay Horse Trams.

Bushy's Brewery founder Martin Brunnschweiler says there is something special planned with that in mind:

This year's chosen charity and "good cause" is the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

The festival will run until Saturday - see more HERE.

Doors will open for CAMRA members and invited guest from 2pm and the general public from 4pm.
