Chief minister keen to develop new business area as one or two sectors decline
The chief minister says the Isle of Man has to be ready to capitalise on new business opportunities.
Alfred Cannan confirmed there has been a decline in one or two sectors recently, including e-gaming.
Figures recently published by the Isle of Man Government indicate the Manx economy has contracted for the second year in a row.
Mr Cannan told Manx Radio it's important to be ready for new developments:
Garff Commissioners asking attorney general to reconsider windfarm election advice
Tender process for building work on new CRHS hits brick wall
Efforts to keep pubs 'at the heart' of hospitality sector accelerate
Visit Isle of Man to reconsider target of attracting 500,000 tourists
