Visit agency celebrates 'respected' accolade
The Isle of Man has been named among the top 10 UK islands in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards.
Despite not being a part of the UK, the Island placed tenth on the list behind the likes of Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Wight.
Visit Isle of Man says: "The award is the latest in a growing series of accolades recognising the Isle of Man's visitor offering and reinforces the Island's reputation as a desirable holiday destination.
"It follows the Isle of Man's recent shortlisting in the 2026 Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards and marks another year of recognition from readers of one of the world's most respected travel publications.
"The Isle of Man's continued inclusion among the UK’s top islands reflects the Island's unique combination of dramatic coastlines, natural landscapes, rich heritage, vibrant culture and outdoor experiences, alongside the warm welcome visitors receive from local businesses and communities.
"Together, these qualities continue to attract visitors seeking authentic and enriching travel experiences, strengthening the Island's position among some of the world's most admired island destinations."
The agency also says the accolade comes at a time when the Island's visitor economy is going 'from strength to strength'.
Chief Executive Deborah Heather says she's thrilled telling Manx Radio it "puts us up there with the most favourite and credible type of visitor traveller".
"I think with everything that's happened with climate, with the heat in Europe, our temperatures, our climate makes us a more attractive option for people", she added.
