Centenary of WWI's end marked

The Isle of Man joined the rest of the British Isles in falling silent at 11am to mark the centenary of the end of the First World War.

A two minutes' silence was observed, ended by this bugle at the one in Douglas.

Services were held in every parish on the Island, as the Manx nation remembered the 1,165 men from here who made the ultimate sacrifice in World War One, and all those who have died in conflicts around the world.
