Isle of Pride directors 'winding up' the charity

The directors have expressed their desire, as individuals, to continue to support the campaign for change.

The directors of Isle of Pride have unanimously decided to discontinue with the charity.

In a statement, they say they believe the time is right for new ideas to be explored and steered by the LGBTQIA+ community.

The organisation, which is run by nine directors, has previously hosted two pride festivals on the Island which, it says, has contributed to advancing acceptance, respect and inclusion for the LGBTQIA+ community in the Island.

Although it's winding up, the directors have expressed their desire, as individuals, to continue to support the campaign for change.
