Jack Frost ready for meals on wheels

Delivering to 100 of 278 people affected

A company which has taken on the provision of meals on wheels for the elderly says it's 'fully prepared' for the task.

Jack Frost was named as one of two alternative service providers, after government's £150,000-a-year contract with Age Concern ends today.

The Braddan wholesaler will make bi-weekly door-to-door deliveries of frozen meals to around 100 of the 278 older residents affected by the change.

Bosses have taken on new staff and provided additional training to meet demand.
