Aims to run half marathon
A Manxman, who lost six stones after being warned he had to get fitter to protect his health has said the National Sports Centre in Douglas literally saved his life.
47 year old Jason Parry was told by his doctor to shape up or risk the consequences, so he exchanged fatness for fitness.
He plans to run a half marathon this weekend.
Jason says the encouragement he got from staff at the Centre made all the difference to his life
