Jobs to go at HSBC

Island workers will be affected by job losses at HSBC.

It was announced yesterday that the bank will cut more than 1,300 jobs in the UK.

The positions will mostly go from its wealth management division in a move to reduce costs.

A spokesperson for the company said between the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands there'll be 15 roles going.

They refused to say how many in that number would be Manx based.
