MHK Peter Karran to ask DEFA Minister about scheme in House of Keys
Government should be doing more to encourage local businesses to buy and sell Manx meat.
That's according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran, who's asking the question in the House of Keys sitting tomorrow (Tuesday).
He's putting it to the Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture Richard Ronan.
Mr Karran says there's a distinct lack of local meat in eateries across the Island and there's a need for a government scheme to get the ball rolling.
