Advice on Avian flu prevention
Measures to try and prevent an outbreak of Avian flu have been introduced on the Island.
It follows an outbreak of the H5N8 bird flu strain in fourteen countries including Germany and France
The advice to poultry keepers includes keeping birds indoors where possible, covering feed bins, changing clothes and a disinfectant regime.
There is not thought to be any risk to humans.
