Replica car on public view tomorrow
Students from five secondary schools descended on the Isle of Man Motor Museum to meet the team behind a 1,000 mph Bloodhound land speed car.
RAF Wing Commander, Andy Green OBE, was in Jurby to talk about the project today (Fri), and encourage youngsters into engineering industry careers.
He is the current world land speed World Record holder, and pilot of the car - parts of which were developed in the Island by Swagelok.
After his talk, students undertook hands on activities building rocket cars and balloon cars of their own.
