AG and former trustee to give evidence
There will be two more high-profile appearances before the Tynwald committee looking into historical child abuse today (Mon 21)
The Island's attorney general, John Quinn, and Andrew Johnston, a former trustee at the Children's Centre will give evidence, starting from 9.30am.
The inquiry is focusing on systematic abuse carried out at Knottfield Children's Home in Douglas, which closed in 1983.
Chief Constable Gary Roberts appeared before the committee on Friday, and said he regretted the failings of the Island's police 40 years ago.
He said it appeared the man who ran the home, Joseph Henry Marshall, had done so for his own sexually perverted pleasure.
