Seats are up for grabs across the Island
Residents wanting to put themselves forward for the Local Authority Elections have until 1pm this afternoon to do so.
Seats will be up for grabs across all local authorities, and some will be hoping for a contested election to get a mandate from voters.
In the last set of elections in 2021 only nine out of the 21 received enough candidates to hold public votes.
After the deadline there will be a one hour 'objection period' for candidates to 'inspect' all the nomination papers.
More information about the elections can be found here.
