A well-known restaurant and bar in Douglas has closed.
The Mailbox Lounge Bar and Grill is situated on the site of the old Post Office headquarters on Circular Road.
Whilst it was open for trade yesterday (Monday), the doors are closed this morning and their website simply states "Many apologies but The Mailbox and The Deli are closed until further notice"
A recorded message gives out the same information on their phone.
The restaurant only opened for the first time last year.
