The planning committee has turned down the latest plan submitted for Callow’s Yard in Castletown.
The plan was to convert properties in Arbory Street and Fusion Bar to flats, whilst keeping retail outlets on the ground floor in all bar one property in the town centre development.
The local authority objected, chiefly because of parking and the density resulting from the plan that would create 30 one-bed and 20 multi-bedroom flats.
