Visitors would be guided from site to site
Christ Church in Laxey could be set to become the starting point for an extensive heritage trail in the village.
Jo Dudley, the Vicar there, explains the plan:
From the church, visitors will be taken along one of several routes, guided from site to site by Tommy Kinrade - a semi-fictional character of a young boy working in the Laxey mines - and his mother.
Interested parties congregated for an open day to launch the idea last week - it's hoped the proposals could help mould Laxey into a prosperous tourist destination.
