MHK meets with gov't to discuss drainage and flood mitigation
More work needs to be done higher up in Laxey valley to mitigate the flood risk to the village's residents.
That's according to one of the area's MHKs, who's been meeting with the Department of Infrastructure and Manx Utilities to discuss the issue.
Daphne Caine says more constituents have been contacting her over the last year, expressing concerns over a lack of drainage.
