Presented by former Island 'Deaf Champion'
A public lecture at the Manx Museum tomorrow (Thurs 28th) will be the first on the Island to offer live subtitling, using pioneering technology.
The guest speaker is former 'Deaf Champion' of the Island Gareth Foulkes, a specialist in disability issues with a thorough knowledge of Celtic and Viking history.
His talk, called 'Deaf and Dauntless', explores attitudes to disability in Norse sagas and Celtic literature.
It starts at 6pm, the lecture is free and tickets can be obtained from the Manx Museum or online at eventbrite.com.
