Peel charity shop makes donations twice a year and wants smaller charities to get involved
The charity shop in Peel is inviting some of the Island's smaller, lesser-known charities to get in touch and put themselves in line for donations.
The shop is run entirely by volunteers and isn't affiliated to any specific charity. Twice a year it makes donations to selected local charities from the funds raised in the shop.
Manx Radio's Simon Richardson asked the shop's Pat Costain, why the focus this year is on smaller charities:
Manx Care 'attempting to establish contact' with dental provider as patients face uncertainty
'Significant dredging works' in Douglas Harbour
'Operational reasons' and tidal restrictions delay Heysham sailing schedule
Coastguard team rescues two-year-old Jack Russell "Teddy"
