Former Manx Language Development Officer has say on Sir John's address
The Lieutenant Governor's decision to deliver his instructions in English and Manx on Tynwald Hill was 'fundamentally significant'.
That's from former Manx Language Development Officer Phil Gawne says when people in power use the language, it shows how important it is.
It comes as a strategy aims to double the number of Manx speakers on the Island over the next decade.
