Peter Cain stopped woman from jumping into harbour
A man who helped save a woman from committing suicide has spoken of the impact the incident has had on his life.
Peter Cain was working at the Manx Legion Club earlier this year when a woman threatened to jump in Douglas Harbour.
He tried to talk her out of it before holding onto her to prevent the woman killing herself - and stayed with her until the emergency services arrived.
Peter received a commendation from the Island's chief constable for his efforts this week.
He told Manx Radio it's had a big impact on his life:
